I love to travel and I love history. So, of course, I love to travel to places where history happened or where history just seeps out of your surroundings. I want to create a memory and share the places I have been and the things I learn and experience here.
I’m Troy. I live in East Sussex on the South Coast of England. I’m a crazy cat man and as well as my love of history and travel I also enjoy postcrossing to connect with people across the world. Unfortunately the amount of this I can do is now limited by the outrageous price of postage in the UK, so I often try to send more cards when I am travelling outside the UK.
I’m not a professional historian in any way, so what I can share is what I read or am told on my travels or as I plan my travels. So apologies if I get it wrong!
As well as historical places I also love to visit places that are just beautiful for their own sake. Also places and things that are quirky, unique or just plan weird.
